TIL KI CHIKKI
Sesame seeds and jaggery are bought together to form this ultimate easy peasy chikki that nourishes your mind body and soul. Maharashtrians make this during makarsanrathi and many other state people too make this. Do try out this recipe and let me know how you like it .
1. Sesame seeds ( til ) 1 cup
2. Jaggery 1 cup
3. Ghee 1 tsp.
1. Dry roast sesame seeds in a kadhai till it roasts well . Keep aside.
2. In same kadhai add ghee add jaggery let it melt. Check consistency by dropping a drop in cold water if it breaks like crystal consistency .
3. Add sesame seeds mix well. Quickly transfer to parchment paper roll out thinly cut into squares and serve after 10 mins of cooling.
