SINGGAR KI MITHAI/ SEV BURFI

SINGGAR JI MITHAI / SEV BURFI 
                    I was introduced to this sindhi sweet by my dear friend mina.  She makes one hell of a sev burfi on which we all foodie friends go crazy on. This burfi is made with thin besan unsalted sev with khoya sugar and dry fruits . This sweet  dish is my humble tribute to my sindhi friends . Do try out this simple recipe and let me know how u like it.
INGREDIENTS
1. Plain sev  250 grams
2. Ghee  1 tbsp
3. Mawa / khoya. 250 grams
4. Sugar.     1.5 cups
5. Water.  2 cups
6. Dry fruits few chopped
METHOD
1. Heat ghee in a an pan toast the sev till brown and well roasted on medium flame.
2. Take another wide pan add sugar and water let it boil to form one thread consistency
3. Put singghar / sev mix well
4. Add mawa mix well.
5. Set in a greased burfi tray and let it rest for 2hrs
6. Cut pieces and serve.
