A decade back makhana was an underrated food in India. It’s only because kareena Kapoor Khan s famous dietitian rujuta diwekar this magic food was back into our shelves again. There are a numerous recipes on makhana as a sweet savory or any gravy. This recipe is a simple roasted version great to munch on and the healthiest crispy snack on earth. This recipe is my housemaids recipe and we all loved it. Do try out this recipe and let me know how you like it.
1. Makhana 2 cups
2. Red chilly powder or / pepper powder half tsp
3. Amchoor powder half tsp
4. Salt as per taste.
5. Ghee 1 tsp
1. Heat ghee in kadhai add makhana roast for 10 minutes or till crisp and nicely roasted.
2. Sprinkle red chilly powder salt amchoor powder and stir very well add little ghee if needed
3. Shut gas let it cool store in air tight container
