A typical marathi snack is usually served by street hawkers in the morning times. These are made by steaming spices gram flour batter then deep frying them . Do try out this recipe and let me know how you like it.
1. Gram flour 2 cups
2. Ginger 1 inch garlic 3 cloves green chillies 2 to 3 make a thick paste
3. Coriander chopped 1 cup
4. Cooking soda half tsp
5. Turmeric half tsp
6. Salt
1. Mix together gram flour ginger garlic green chilly paste salt coriander leaves soda turmeric and salt. Add water to form a smooth batter
2. Pour batter in a greased plate and steam it for 15 mins or till done.
3. Let it cool. Demould it. Cut into inch squares and deep fry them in a kadhai .
4. Serve hot.
