IYENGAR BAKERY STYLE MASALA TOAST

IYENGAR BAKERY STYLE MASALA TOAST 
Had this toast when I visited banglore s iyengar bakery This toast is a simple pan toasted bread savoury topped with regular onion tomatoe masala with a zing of tomato ketchup. Best for kids tiffin or breakfast or an evening snack. Do try out this recipe and let me know how you like .
INGREDIENTS 
1. Bread slices as req 
2. Oil 2tsp
3. Cumin seeds / jeera half tsp 
4. Mustard seeds half tsp
5. Green chillies finely chopped 4 
6. Ginger finely chopped 1 inch 
7. Onion 2 small finely chopped 
8. Tomatoes 2 finely chopped 
9. Cumin powder half tsp
10. Garam masala 1 tsp
11. Turmeric powder half tsp 
12. Red chilly powder 1 tsp
13. Tomatoe ketchup 2 tbsp
15. Coriander leaves chopped finely 
16. Salt to taste 
17. Shredded 1/4 cup
18. Cabbage shredded 1/4 cup
19. Capsicum finely chopped one 
20. Soft butter to apply on bread. 
21. Chaat masala 1tsp 
METHOD 
1. In a pan add oil fry cumin seeds add mustard green chillies ginger let then cook for a minute. 
2. Add onions cook well dont brown the onion 
3. Add tomatoes cook till mushy.
4. Add all dry masala powder cook for 1 minute add all veggies and salt.
5. Cook well add ketchup cook for a 1 minute. Shut the gas and add chopped coriander leaves. 
6. Take bread butter them let then pan fry till brown and crisp. 
7. Apply vegetable mix on one side of bread facing u. 
8. Let it roast on low for it to turn crisp 
9. Serve with ketchup
