This cake was the recipe adapted by jeyadra vijayselvans recent Instagram reels. I always had this cake in my to do list and when this baking diva did it I had to follow her. Do try out this recipe of hers and let me know how u like it.
Condensed milk 1 cup
Milk 1 cup
Pure vanilla essence 1.5tsp
Oil 1 cup
Maida 2 and 1/4 cup
Dessicated coconut 3tbsp ( optional )
Baking powder 2tsp
Baking soda half tsp
- FOR SYRUP
Warm Water 200ml
Sugar 200 grams
Kissan jam 200 grams mixed with 2tbsp water
- Mix all ingredients together for the cake and make a smooth batter.
- Pour it in a lined tin bake at 180 degrees till done.
- Make the syrup by adding all ingredients exceot jam and pour over the cake.
- Spread the jam and sprinkle dessicated coconut. Cut to desired pieces and enjoy
