One of my favourite chef on Instagram shared this recipe and I had to give it a shot. Its nice rich buttery yet light to feel. Do try out this amazing vanilla sponge cake and let me know how u like it.
Sugar 150 grams
Butter 150 grams
Vanilla essence 1tbsp
Maida 200 grams
Baking powder 1tsp
Chilled milk 50 grams
- Cream butter sugar and vanilla till light n fluffy
- Add each egg one by one beating it well.
- Add maida baking powder fold well.
- Add chilled milk fold. Pour in a lined tin bake at 180 degrees for 45 mins or till done.
