This pickle is made from fresh turmeric kept in spices and lime in a bottle . Turmeric is a great anti inflammatory antioxidant and used traditionally in a versatile manner. This recipe is from my dear sister in law who makes every month a fresh batch. Do try out this simple recipe and let me know how u like it.
1. Green chillies 10 to 12 desseded slit
2. Lemon 6
3. Mango ginger fresh 200 gram
4. Mustard powder
5. Rock salt
6. Oil 2tbsp
7. Turmeric fresh. 200 grams
1. Wash turmeric and ginger in water 3 to 4 times wipe dry
2. Cut them lengthwise.
3. In a clean dry glass combine turmeric ginger chillies lemon juice salt oil and mustard powder mix well and keep it covered for overnight.
4. Next day transfer into clean dry bottle and keep in sun for 1hr.
5. Mix well and store in glass bottle in fridge
